July ended up being my second best month on my blog for 2019. Thank you all for visiting!
July ended up being my second best month on my blog for 2019. Thank you all for visiting!
I went a little overboard in July compared to the last couple months, but I have no regrets.
I had quite a few things going on in July, so I’m kind of surprised I finished as many books as I did. I definitely found some new favorites, too.
House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig (earc) 4 stars
Some Places More Than Others by Renee Watson (physical arc) 5 stars
Mooncakes by Wendy Xu and Suzanne Walker (earc) 5 stars
The TBR and Beyond Beach Book Bash is halfway over. This event was for July and August. I ended up rolling two boards and thought I would do a quick update at the halfway point.

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. You can find each week’s topic on her site.
This week was a freebie and I didn’t plan anything out. But I decided to try something at the last minute. I won’t have details for the books because I didn’t schedule this ahead of time.
I’m going with Top Ten ARCs I still need to read. These are ones I already have even though I’ll get more before the year is over.
For anyone new to my blog, I am a moderator in TBR and Beyond which is a very active book group on facebook. We have monthly challenges and games along with group reads and live author chats. I hope you join if you haven’t already. You do need to be a member to sign up for any game.
Our members wanted to do another game board, so we are doing a two month event for summer. I’ll have the rules below. You can join and also see the rules with THIS LINK

I was recently contacted to become an affiliate for Book Of The Month YA. Since I’ve heard nothing but good things about BOTM, I decided to give it a try. Please note that this is not a website for Book of the Month. I’m just promoting it. You can follow the link below which will take you to the site.
I will be posting around once a month and the posts will always include my affiliate link. Please know that I do get a commission for every new sign up using my link. So thank you in advance to anyone who gives it a try.

I have to be honest. I’m really glad that July is a bit of a slower month for book releases. I feel like so many books came out from April through June and I need to catch up (like that ever happens).
As always, this isn’t a full list of books coming out. They are either ones I’m most looking forward to or ones that seem to be pretty popular already.
