I Spy Book Challenge

I was tagged by Melanie @Mel To The Any to do this amazing tag, which was originally created by the wonderful Kristin @ Kristin Kraves Books!

➽ How to do this tag: Find a book that contains (either on the cover or in the title) an example for each category. You must have a separate book for all 20, get as creative as you want and do it within five minutes!

Down the TBR #34

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when youre scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go

As before, if there are no comments below the cover, I just don’t really remember adding the book to my list.   I will be doing 15 again this week.

The Netgalley Book Tag

➽ RULES
¬ Link back to the tag’s creator: Kourtni at Kourtni Reads

¬ Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
¬ Tag a few people to do this too!

➽ AUTO-APPROVED: WHO’S ONE AUTHOR WHOSE BOOKS YOU AUTOMATICALLY WANT TO READ, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT?

I have way too many of these.  I think I would probably say Adam Silvera because I would read anything he writes.

To TBR or Not To TBR

I definitely have a large TBR on goodreads, but I really don’t do monthly TBR’s.  I see so many people that do, so I thought it would be fun to discuss this topic.

For me, I’m a mood reader.  If I set a very specific TBR, I am setting myself up for failure.  It also takes away some of the fun of reading and makes it feel more like a chore at times.
