I was hesitant to make plans a week after vacation (I always need time to recover and catch up). But when I saw Roshani was coming to Naperville, there was no way I would pass it up. She was there Sunday, April 28th, 2019. The event was for Aru Shah and the Song of the Dead.

As soon as I saw the announcement for this tour, I knew I had to go. Anderson’s Bookshop in La Grange, IL hosted Amie and Jay on Friday March 16, 2018. I loved Illuminae and Gemina and had been looking forward to Obsidio the second I finished book two.

I was lucky enough to attend another book signing (with my husband, thank you Jesse) at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, IL. Tomi Adeyemi was there promoting Children of Blood and Bone on March 8, 2018. Veronica Roth was there with her to ask questions.
This event was packed. They actually sold out of the book twice. Because of this, my husband was standing pretty far back and most of the pictures are super grainy. I still want to share them though.

I was lucky enough to get to attend the 14th annual Young Adult Literature Conference in Lisle, IL. This was hosted by Anderson’s Bookshop. Saturday November 4th, was the day for teachers, librarians, and adult fans of YA. My husband and I attended that day as fans.
The day started at 7:15am with a continental breakfast along with the bookstore opening.
At 8am, they did a welcome, introductions, and announcements.
8:20 was the first key note speaker. This one was Nicola Yoon.

I’m finally getting a chance to make a post about this book event. Thursday October 5th, my best friend and I were able to attend another book event at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, IL. This one was for Lauren Oliver and Adam Silvera.

I was lucky enough to get to attend another book event put on by Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, Illinois. This time it was for Leigh Bardugo’s Wonder Woman.
Leigh was amazing. I absolutely loved her personality and she made everyone laugh a lot. I should have taken notes and since I haven’t had a chance to post this until now, I’ve pretty much forgotten what I wanted to mention. She did talk about what inspired her to write and talked a little bit about the next book she’s working on (it sounds so awesome).
