Picked up an older LitJoy Crate on sale (unboxing photos).

LitJoy had a sale on past boxes and I couldn’t pass this one up.  I read an ARC of Kat and Meg awhile back, but hadn’t had a chance to pick it up yet.

Would love your help!

I would love to have some guest posts from time to time from other bloggers.  I’m pretty open to topics.  If this is something that interests you, please contact me after February 20th and we can set something up.

I’ve also been hosting authors and I’m happy to have more of you on, too.

Thanks everyone!

Goodreads Monday 2/12/18

Goodreads Monday is hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners.  All you have to do is show off a book from your TBR that you’re looking forward to reading.

Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake

Gia Kearns would rather fight with boys than kiss them. That is, until Arik, a leather clad hottie in the Boston Athenaeum, suddenly disappears. While examining the book of world libraries he abandoned, Gia unwittingly speaks the key that sucks her and her friends into a photograph and transports them into a Paris library, where Arik and his Sentinels—magical knights charged with protecting humans from the creatures traveling across the gateway books—rescue them from a demonic hound.

Jumping into some of the world’s most beautiful libraries would be a dream come true for Gia, if she weren’t busy resisting her heart or dodging an exiled wizard seeking revenge on both the Mystik and human worlds. Add a French flirt obsessed with Arik and a fling with a young wizard, and Gia must choose between her heart and her head, between Arik’s world and her own, before both are destroyed.

Down The TBR #16

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when youre scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

If there are no comments below the book cover, it just means that I don’t remember adding the book and that’s why I’m removing it.  I will be doing 15 again this week.

My books for Netgalley & Edelweiss

I realized that I have quite a few books I still need to read for both of these and I still keep requesting more.  I thought it might be fun to share my list of books that haven’t been released yet.  Hopefully this pushes me to read them and gives me a list of the release dates.  I try to read and review them before they come out, preferably a month before.  So right now I’m reading the ones that come out in March/early April.

I’ll start with Edelweiss because that list is bigger.

The Wicked Deep  (reading now)  3/6

Dread Nation   4/3

Beyond A Darkened Shore   4/10

Lizzie   4/10
