My name is Kristi. I love reading (obviously), breed geckos, and I’m a homemaker. I’m married with a grown daughter. I also have a grandson that I adore. I turned 40 in 2017, so I’m not the typical audience for YA and MG books, but I love them. I’m also a new moderator in TBR and Beyond. I hope you come join us!
I generally read 2-3 books per week. Definitely over 100 a year and I review most of those. I’m on netgalley and edelweiss. I have a facebook page, twitter, and instagram, too. I review on my blog, goodreads, and amazon.
I’m usually happy to review books, but I can’t guarantee I will read it quickly if you send me something without asking me first. I will do the best I can, but I prefer YA, fantasy, or mystery/thrillers. Those get read first. If I receive a book that really doesn’t interest me, I might not get around to it considering how big my TBR list is. Even if I don’t get around to reading something quickly, your book will make my book haul blog and I will most likely tweet about receiving it, too. I just can’t get to every single book I have in a set amount of time. Priority is given to books that I’m most looking forward to.
At this time, I’m not accepting any self published books. I have a very big list of books I want to read, so I know I won’t get a chance to read most other books. I”m also going to have to ask that you’re with a fairly well know publisher, too. I usually have at least 10 books I want to read each month and need to be picky. I apologize that I can’t get to every book request I get. If you don’t hear back from me, that is likely the reason why. I’m working with some publishers and blog tours. I’m not going to specifically limit which publishers I’ll accept, but I love most books from Penguin Teen, Entangled Teen, TorTeen, HMH Teen, Simon Teen, Hachette, Harlequin Teen, St Martins Press, Little Brown Books, KCP Loft, Sourcebooks Fire, Wednesday Books, Random House, Disney, Bloomsbury, Jimmy Patterson Presents, Rick Riordan Presents, and other imprints with these publishers (I probably missed a few and I’m sorry for that). If I’m having a slow month, I may be able to read something else, so it doesn’t hurt to ask. Just please know that I can only reply to the requests I’m accepting. I’ve been getting a lot of messages.
I do read some self published books, but it’s usually from an author I know. Again, I apologize that I cannot read everything. I wish there was more time for reading.
For digital books, I use a kindle. I can get that information for you privately. I prefer physical copies when possible.
I have a PO Box that books can be sent to. If you need a physical address, please contact me and I will provide it privately.
