Top Ten Tuesday 1/25/22

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.   You can find each week’s topic on her site.

This week’s topic is new to me authors I read in 2021.

Looking back through my list of books read, I realize that I read a lot of new to me authors in 2021.  I just decided to pick a random ten.  These are in no particular order.

Sally Thorne:  I read The Hating Game

Ash Parsons:  I read Girls Save the World in This One

Alexa Donne:  I read The Ivies

Andrew Shvarts:  I read It Ends in Fire

Raquel Vasquez Gilliland:   I read How Moon Fuentez Fell in Love with the Universe

Kendare Blake:  I read All These Bodies

Kat Ellis:  I read Burden Falls

Chloe Gong:  I read These Violent Delights and Our Violent Ends

Rachel Hawkins:  I read Reckless Girls

Kaylynn Flanders:  I read Shielded and Untethered

Have you read any of these authors?  What authors did you discover in 2021?

My name is Kristi and I review books and mod on TBR and Beyond on Facebook. I love to travel and go to concerts. I've been married for over 20 years. I listen to a lot of pop punk. Otherwise, I'm pretty boring. We do have four grandchildren now and try to see them monthly since they don't live close. I read mostly YA and adult mystery/thrillers. I also read a lot of middle grade and some adult romance. You can also find me on facebook, twitter, and instagram (don't post often).

  1. I also found last year that I read a lot of new authors – and actually, now I think about it – they were predominantly female. I don’t think that was a conscious choice but I was intrigued when I looked at my list.
