Goodreads Monday is hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners. All you have to do is show off a book from your TBR that you’re looking forward to reading.
It’s getting hard to remember which ones I’ve done already, so I’m sorry if you see a book pop up on these more than once. It will happen. Probably a lot.

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
It works like this:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go
I am going to remove sequels for books when I haven’t read book one. They may or may not get added back later.
I’m getting to more recent books now and won’t be removing as many. Because of this, I’m not going to do 20 per post. Probably 10 or 15.

February looks like it will be another good month for book releases. This is not everything, just a handful of books coming out. Please double check the dates since I took them from Goodreads. The changes are not always updated.

I just wanted to apologize for not commenting and replying to comments lately. January has been a very crazy month for us. My daughter’s car (in our name) got hit on the 1st. It took almost two weeks to get it done and we had to drive to take care of it (2 hours one way). My father in law was sick and then passed away. He was moved to another hospital across state lines, so we traveled there. My daughter had a baby on the 14th. And our other grandson’s birthday was the 17th. Our furnace also went out and is currently being replaced. It’s been a mess.
Thank you to everyone who still visits and comments. I hope things will slow down and I’ll be able to reply more often.

I am surprised by how many debuts I read last year. It’s a good surprise though. I really enjoy finding and supporting new authors. Since there are so many, I’m just going to post covers without descriptions.
I think all of these were debuts. If I’m wrong on one, please let me know. When I say debut, I mean books published and not self published books.

There were so many great covers in 2020. This list was so hard to make, but I managed to narrow it down a bit. I included books I haven’t read, so these are strictly on how the cover looks to me.

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. You can find each week’s topic on her site.
This week’s topic is books I meant to read in 2020.
There are so many that I never got around to, so this list isn’t all of them. These are in no particular order.
Some of these are sequels and may contain spoilers for the earlier books.
