August 2020 Wrap Up

I’ve still been slumping a bit with my reading, so August wasn’t a great month in numbers.  But I did read some books that I ended up loving.

These are in no particular order.

You Had Me At Hola paperback 4 stars

A Curse of Gold earc 4 stars

Grown earc 5 stars

Beast Boy   ebook  4 stars

Queen of Volts   earc  5 stars

Thirteens   earc  5 stars

The Afterlife of the Party   earc  3  1/2 stars

Raybearer   earc  5 stars

Chasing Starlight   earc  4  1/2 stars

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I just started reading Queen of Volts. I didn’t get far but loving the new povs. I just reread King of Fools and it had me so excited to be back in that world. I can’t wait to see how it all ends. I am so happy to see you gave it 5 stars. I’m sure it’s going to be amazing and probably break me as too.

      1. I finished it a couple of days ago. I am so sad to see it end up. I thought it was so action packed. Really enjoyed getting to know more of some of the side characters. It was a fun way to end the series.
