2019 Goodreads Wrap Up

Normally I would share the screenshots of every book I read.  But it was a lot and sloppy, so I’m just going to share a few things.

Yes, I rate really high.  I sometimes feel weird about it, but I enjoy books.  I’m not super picky and I’ve kind of learned what I’ll most likely love.  Overall, I’m really happy with my 2019 reading.

How was your 2019?  What was the last book you read?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I think it’s so great that you rate really highly! Like you said, it means you mostly really enjoy what you read and that’s the most important 😀
    I hope you’ll have a fantastic reading year!! 🙂

  2. I’m not terribly picky when it comes to reading either. I also rate pretty high. I generally feel self conscious about it at my book club where everyone else is super picky.
My last book of the year was Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell. It was super cute!

  3. I sometimes find myself feeling weird about rating books high, too, because I feel like others tend to give a lot of 2 and 3 star books, but I realized that I’m just really good at picking out books I really like … and I think it also helps that I don’t read ARCs because I never feel obligated to finish a book if I’m not liking it (and I don’t rate books I don’t finish.)
