Update on my Fall 5 Star Predictions

I almost forgot I made a post with my 5 star predictions. I thought it would be good to check now and see how I did with my guessing.

This is the original post.

Tunnel of Bones

I did give this one 5 stars.

Midnight Beauties

I ended up giving this one 4 stars.

Spellhacker

I’m almost done with this one and I’m already thinking 5 stars unless the ending sucks.

Songs From The Deep

This one got 4 stars from me.

Capturing The Devil

While this wasn’t my favorite of the series, it still got 5 stars.

Girls of Storm and Shadow

This one got 5 stars.

Queens of Geek

Definitely 5 stars on this one.

The Never Tilting World

I gave this one 4  1/2 stars.

Gravemaidens

This one got 4  1/2 stars.

Into the Crooked Place

This one got 4 stars.

First, I have to say that I’m shocked I read all 10 books.  I’m horrible with TBRs, so this was really surprising.  As you can see above, only 5 of the 10 got a 5 star rating for me.  But all were 4 and up, so that’s pretty good.

This was fun to look back on, so I think I’ll do one for winter, too.  Keep an eye out for that soon.

Have you read any of these books?  Were any 5 stars for you?

  1. Wow, you were pretty good at your predictions. I feel like 4 and up is wonderful for all of them. I know I have thought I would love a book to only be very disappointing, mainly due to the description being misleading.

  2. No, I haven’t read any of these books and I have to say – 5/10 hit-rate for 5-star prediction sounds pretty good to me! I far more often find myself giving 5 stars to books I’d hadn’t had any expectations of, rather than those I was excitedly anticipating…
