October 2019 Book Haul (I was really, really bad this month.)

To be fair, I was pre-pared to buy a lot in October because I was going to a YA Lit Conference put on by Anderson’s Bookshop.  I buy a lot there to get signed after the event.  Plus, this was a big release month.

I’ll start with ebooks since there aren’t too many of those.

(somehow I forgot to take a photo of Blood Countess)

That’s 22 purchased and 22 from publishers for a total of 44 books.  Holy crap!  I’m so thankful for all of these.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I cant wait to see your thoughts on a lot of these! I gave 5 stars to both Gravemaidens and The Grace Year. I gave 4 stars to The Never Tilting World and Ninth House. I have copies of a lot of these too. I’m so hype for The Winter Duke and I need to check out Girl Serpent Thorn

      1. I felt like there wasnt enough world building. I didn’t know that the one side of the world was dark all the time until pretty far into the book. A lot of little things like that could have used a little more clarification because the world wasnt super clear. But the book was action packed so it hardly ever lost my attention so that was good
