Top Ten Tuesday 11/5/19

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.   You can find each week’s topic on her site.

This week’s topic is autumn books or covers.  I went with a bit of both.  I like a darker atmosphere in autumn.  The colors I think of are oranges, reds, yellows, golds, browns, a little green, and a bit of gray.  I live in the midwest, so we have some strange fall weather at times.  Lots of rain lately and we had some snow already (so glad I was on vacation for that).   We have a lot of trees and cornfields.

I haven’t read all of these, so I have no idea if they have fall vibes inside.  Wilder Girls and Teeth in the Mist had that atmosphere that I like in autumn.  Sawkill Girls, too.  The other books were chosen because of the covers. Mostly colors, but some had the whole fall vibe to me.  Also, the center formatting is different for my most recent posts.  I have no idea why, but it’s not letting me format the way I normally do.  Hopefully that doesn’t last.

Did you do this week’s top ten?  What is autumn like where you live?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. Crown of Feathers, Nocturna and Stronger Than a Bronze Dragon are all the covers that particuarly sang out to me… They are all beautiful. And the books’ premises look intriguing too… Though there isn’t a bad cover here amongst them!
