Wrap Up For TBR and Beyond’s September 2019 Challenge

Just a quick update on how I did with September’s challenge.  When this was first announced, I had a lot of arcs to read, so I was thinking I would only get 3 of the 5 done.  But somehow I was able to fit 5 of my books into the categories.

Yes, I totally just scribbled the color quickly, so it’s a mess.  With this challenge, we had to read 5 books total.  Each book had to fit two of the cards.

The Last Time I Lied:  adult fiction and cozy mystery (not so cozy, but mysteries are best in the cozy fall weather)

The Never Tilting World:  fall color cover (the bottom world part fit) and new to you author

The Other Better Me:  school setting and cute contemporary

The Dragon Warrior:  animal on cover (dragon) and comfort book (middle grade)

Capturing the Devil:  friend rec and historical fiction

I did read other books, but they didn’t fit.  Overall, I’m thrilled that I was able to finish, but wish it didn’t take me to the end of the month to do it.

Did you do this challenge?  Are you a member of TBR and Beyond (facebook) yet?

My name is Kristi and I review books and mod on TBR and Beyond on Facebook. I love to travel and go to concerts. I've been married for over 20 years. I listen to a lot of pop punk. Otherwise, I'm pretty boring. We do have four grandchildren now and try to see them monthly since they don't live close. I read mostly YA and adult mystery/thrillers. I also read a lot of middle grade and some adult romance. You can also find me on facebook, twitter, and instagram (don't post often).
