Now, Claire’s father wants to move and take Claire with him. But she can’t go. Not now when everything is falling into place, and she’s just now finding herself. Claire’s defiant. She won’t leave Greenwood, her new friends, her grandmother, or Todd.

Special Post From Author:
Character Interview: Todd Cash
Todd was a major character in Finding Me. He brought out the best in Claire, and helped her on her path to forgiveness. While Claire is the main character, Todd has done more than enough to earn a spot up there with her. In case you are interested in learning more about Todd, here is a character interview with him.
Question: What was your first thought when you realized who Claire was?
Todd: When I first realized it was Claire that walked into the principal’s office that day, I almost fell off of my chair. I had never actually met her before, but of course, I knew her instantly, not only because of the name, but because I’ve seen pictures of her. I tried to keep it secret as to who I was at first, but I couldn’t lie to her. She had lost enough already, and she deserved the truth.
Question: What is your favorite thing to do?
Todd: Read. I read all the time, when I’m not working. It’s a great way to escape from everyday reality and find yourself somewhere new.
Question: How many times would you say you’ve read To Kill a Mockingbird?
Todd: -Laughs- At least fifteen, I’m sure.
Question: Do you and your brother have a close relationship?
Todd: We used to have a really close relationship before the accident. Now it isn’t quite the same. I mean, we still spend a lot of time together and all, but we aren’t as close as we were back then.
Question: Have you visited your father since the accident?
Todd: Yes. I visited him one time. It was a really difficult visit, actually; he couldn’t even look at me. I can’t remember the last time I saw my dad sober, if I can be honest. It was so…unreal. He kept telling me he was sorry and that he never meant to hurt anyone. At first, I was angry and didn’t really want to talk about it, but Claire told me that I should give him a chance, so I did. I still haven’t forgiven him, but I’m working on it.
Kelly Gunderman was born a child of the late eighties in small-town Pennsylvania. A bibliophile in her own right, she is hoping to one day surpass the number of pages she has turned with those she has written of her own accord.
Having recently completed her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Development, Kelly suddenly found herself with a bit more free time than usual, and began her immediately successful foray into blogging and Freelance Writing, which subsequently led to her renewed desire to finally put her ideas and imaginings “on paper.”
Focusing primarily on the Young Adult genre, Kelly’s first novel, Finding Me, was published by Swoon Romance, and she is currently working on putting even more stories on paper.
She currently resides in her original home town with her husband, their two daughters, and a few cats that constantly challenge the sanity of all with their ill-advised attempts at what can only be assumed to be world domination.
