Announcing Trouble by Amy Fellner Dominy
Publication Date: August 5, 2019
Publisher: Entangled Teen Crush
I may know everything there is to know about baseball, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Or like him. Garrett Reeves: sidelined player and the embodiment of everything I’ve learned to hate about baseball. He’s gorgeous, he’s cocky, he’s laser-focused on getting back in the game, no matter the cost.
When he convinces me to call games alongside him, our chemistry heats up the booth. We’re good together, whether I want to admit it or not. I’m finding that I like baseball again, but even worse, I’m liking Garrett. A lot.
But when he has to decide between our future and a new shot at his dreams, I know baseball will win out every time.
Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book has tons of hilarious banter, lots of sexual tension, and a hero who will throw a wild pitch right at your heart.

If I Knew Then What I Know Now About Writing
If I knew then what I know now about writing, I would have given up on the idea of perfection a loooong time ago.
Here’s what I mean. My first novel, OyMG, took five years to write. I spent four years on the first three chapters alone.
Why? I was trying to be perfect. I wanted every word to be breathtakingly fabulous. And after a million revisions, I had a very polished opening of a novel.
Unfortunately, publishers don’t just want three chapters. They kind of like you to write an entire book with an actual ending.
Thankfully, a friend told me about a writing workshop that I wanted to go to. But to get in the workshop, you had to submit a completed manuscript. With that deadline in mind, I took those three chapters and wrote a messy draft of the rest of the book in two months. And I got in to the workshop! Ironically, the main lesson of this gathering was to write fast. To get the story down and not worry about polishing until later.
Ever since then, I write very messy, very awful first drafts. I don’t worry about perfect. (Really, is there any such thing?) Instead, I get my story down on paper and it takes me about eight months to finish a novel now. Quite a bit better than five years!
So take it from me if you’re a writer—forget about perfect. If you struggle doing that, remind yourself that you’ll get to fix it later. There’s a famous saying you’ve probably heard but it’s famous for a reason: You can’t revise a blank page.
