1/2 Way Done: Update on the Beach Book Bash Challenge

The TBR and Beyond Beach Book Bash is halfway over.  This event was for July and August.  I ended up rolling two boards and thought I would do a quick update at the halfway point.

Well, my scanner doesn’t like color today.  What looks like pink/red is actually orange highlighter and the teal looking one is actually neon green highlighter.  The pink/red is my first roll and the teal is my second roll.  I had a couple that were the same.

We leave prompts up to interpretation and you can read in any order.  I don’t think I would succeed if we had to read in order.

Roll One

Summer:  Rebel Girls

Cover Lust:  Tiger Queen

Back Two Spaces to Cover Lust again:  Life Is Short And Then You Die

Magic:  House of Salt and Sorrows

Hyped Books:  The Girl the Sea Gave Back

New Release:  Wilder Girls

Strong Woman:

Contemporary:  Some Places More Than Others

Roll Two

Blue:

Fantasy:

Cover Lust:  Kingdom of Souls

Magic:  The Bone Houses

TBR Group Read:

Mystery:

First Love:  The Lady Rogue

Middle Grade:

Paranormal:  The Girl Who Loved Ghosts

That means I’ve read 11 of 17 so far.  I’m not doing bad at all!  I am really hoping I’ll be able to finish both rolls by the end of August.

Did you join this challenge?  If so, how are you doing?  Are you a member of TBR and Beyond yet?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. This was my first time playing a “board game” and I really like it. My first roll I got 8 prompts and i’m currently reading my 5th book.
