Top Ten Tuesday 7/30/19

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.   You can find each week’s topic on her site.

This week was a freebie and I didn’t plan anything out.  But I decided to try something at the last minute.  I won’t have details for the books because I didn’t schedule this ahead of time.

I’m going with Top Ten ARCs I still need to read.  These are ones I already have even though I’ll get more before the year is over.

These are in no particular order.

Girls of Storm and Shadow.  I loved Girls of Paper and Fire and I got a physical arc from the publisher.

There Will Come A Darkness.  I got a physical arc from the publisher and should be reading this soon.

The Tenth Girl.  I am waiting on my arc for this one for a blog tour.  I’m hoping it’s as creepy as the cover looks.

The Beast.  Another one I have a physical arc of.  I loved The Darkdeep and will be reading this one in August.

INTO_THE_CROOKED_PLACE6

Into The Crooked Place.  I got a physical arc of this one awhile ago and I’ve just been waiting until closer to release day to read it.  I’m hoping to read it in August or early September.

Infinity Son.  It’s Adam Silvera.  I love this books and can’t wait to read this earc a bit closer to the release date.

The Babysitter’s Coven.  I requested this right away and luckily got an earc.  I’m now on a blog tour for it, too, so I’ll be reading this in August.

Our Wayward Fate.  I was so excited to get a physical arc of this one.  I loved American Panda and have high hopes for this.

Gideon the Ninth.  I have an earc of this that I’ll be reading in August during the TBR and Beyond adult readathon.

Now Entering Addamsville.  I loved Eliza, so I’m curious to see if I’ll like this one just as much.  And look at that cover!  I have an earc of this to read soon.

I’ve already been reading September arcs, so I didn’t add those to the list.  These are all unread.  Sorry again for throwing this together so sloppily.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. i can’t wait for There Will Come A Darkness! I also was instantly intrigued by The Babysitter’s Coven so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that one once the tour starts!

Into the Crooked Place made my list this week as well! Hopefully we both love all these arcs!! Feel free to check out my full list here: bit.ly/2Ygk0W3

  2. OMG I’ve been shaking the earth to get my hands on Into the Crooked Kingdom but I keep failing. I missed it at BookExpo, then BookCon, my requests on both Netgalley and Edelweiss haven’t been answered and I contacted directly the editor which probably refused since the stoped replying ^^ You’re lucky to have had this one 🙂

      1. It was actually my first con, I flew there from France during the weekend and went back to work the day after ^^ I hope I’ll love it as well that would be a shame if I don’t haha 😜

      2. You’re talking about YALC, right? I almost went but I was afraid to be disappointed after all the arcs I got at BE/BC ^^ Honestly it was super tiring to fly there (I was working on Wednesday, arrived Wednesday night, went on the con for 4 days, and flew back Sunday evening, arrived Monday morning and went straight to work) but I feel like it was really worth it!

    1. Thank you! I am, too. I love Adam’s writing and I’m curious to see how a full fantasy from him will be. I feel like They Both Die At The End was a step into a bit of fantasy/sci fi and I really liked it. So hopefully this one will be good, too.
