My Favorite Reads for the First Half of the Year (Jan-Jun)

I know I recently shared my TBR for the year and how many I’ve finished.  Today I thought I would share my favorite books of 2019 so far.  This was hard to narrow down and I could have easily picked a top 25.  These are books yet, not released in 2019.

Since some of these are sequels, I’m not going to include the synopsis for the books.  There’s a good chance I have a review up for all of these already which will also have the synopsis if you do a search.

*Not all of these are released yet and I’m basing my opinion on the ARC I read.*

These are in no particular order.  There are some books that came out in Jan/Feb that I read last year, so they are not on this list.

Yes, that’s 18 and it’s narrowed down.  I’ve already read a couple favorites in July, so I can’t begin to imagine how I’ll narrow it down for the whole year list.  I’ve read 96 books this year so far, so I don’t think this is too bad.  As I mentioned, I could have easily added more, but I wanted to try to include different genres.

Have you read any of these?  Would they make your favorites list?  What are some of your favorite books that you’ve read in 2019 so far?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I am so excited for Serpent & Dove! I read Blood Heir before the debate with it so I am excited for its release to see what has changed about it.

    1. Yay! That one is really high on my list. It’s so hard for me to even make a top ten and it’s impossible to put them in order (though I have to for our facebook group). I think I change my order around throughout the year. The books I’m still thinking about often usually make it to the very top. Wicked Saints will definitely be there.
