Half Year TBR Update

This is the first year I’ve done a yearly TBR POST.  Since we are halfway through the year, I thought I would see how I’m doing.  I’m horrible with sticking to a TBR being a mood reader, but I’m actually not doing too bad.

I’m just going to copy all the books I had on that post linked above (with no photos) and mark the ones I’ve already read.

So my 2019 TBR has 45 books on it.  I’ve already read 26 and I’m currently reading number 27.  I’m actually really surprised.  I’m not sure if I’ll get to some of the older books or not, but I’m hoping to read more pre 2019 books.

Did you make a yearly TBR?  How are you doing on it?  Have you read any of these already?

    1. Thank you! I have so many that I loved. I have the hardest time picking a top ten for the year. I may do a post soon on my favorites of the first half of the year though. I just need to think about it and try to narrow things down a bit.

  1. Wow, you’ve been doing SO great so far, that’s incredible, congrats!! This list reminded me that I need to read The Everlasting Rose, I really enjoyed The Belles! What did you think of the sequel? 😀

  2. I am pretty bad at sticking to my TBR but I think I have found more or less a balance! I really want to read The Princess and the Fangirl, These Witches Don’t Burn, and Serious Moonlight! Jenn Bennett is coming out with an adorable book cover that gives the total Gilmore Girl vibes! Have you seen it?!

  3. Wow you did great! I do TBR sometimes. This month for instance. It depends of my mood and free slots in my reading schedule 🙂

  4. My yearly TBR is to get to all of my books from the previous year everything else is just a bonus. As of right now I only have 6 of those books remaining. 🎉 Great progress on your yearly TBR!

  5. I haven’t Done a yearly TBR but I did think about 10 books I want to get to this year if I can. Then each month a do a TBR to try and follow but I’m a major mood reader so it doesnt work all the time haha

    1. I’m a mood reader, too, so I try to put a mixture of genres on my TBRs to help with that. I sometimes skip ahead a month and then go back. I may not read a book at all if I’m just not in the mood for it. I wouldn’t want to review something negatively because I wasn’t in the mood for it.
