Top Ten Tuesday 6/4/19

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.   You can find each week’s topic on her site.

This week’s topic is top ten books from your favorite genre.  Normally I would copy and past the synopsis for each book, but I’m still having hand issues.  So there will just be covers.  Hopefully I can start typing more/using my wrist soon.

My favorite genre is mystery/thriller/spooky type books.  These are in no particular order.

I just finished this and had to add it to my list.  There are murder mysteries, but also mysteries of the past and some heart racing moments.

This series is sadly ending this year.  I loved each book.  Plenty of murder and mysteries in each one.

Another murder mystery book.  I liked this even more than One of Us is Lying.

I love books with big twists and girls that aren’t very nice.

This is a book two (Dare You To Lie is awesome, too).  I liked this one even more.  Lots of mysteries and twists in this series so far.  And a super snarky girl makes it perfect for me.

Fast paced and so much fun to read.  This one comes out this summer and I highly recommend it.

This was a fun, spooky read, perfect for summer or fall.

This is middle grade, but it was actually really creepy!  I would recommend reading it around Halloween.

I loved the creepy atmosphere in this book.  I highly recommend this for fall reading if possible.

Another boarding school with murder and mean girls.

What is your favorite genre?  Have you read any of these?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

      1. That’s a cool way to plan. I request so many arcs, but I have gotten better. It’s hard to believe because I still end up with about 8 per month to read. But I used to request more than I would ever be able to read.
