US vs UK Covers Part Two

I did a post on this awhile back and it seemed pretty popular.  So I decided to find more to share.  I’m not 100% sure they are UK covers, but they are not the US ones.   I tried to pick ones that were very different, but both Sea Witch covers are pretty similar.

US will be first and UK will be second.

I’m always amazed at how different most of the UK covers are.  Do you have a preference?  I often times look at both and decide which to buy.  The only issue I have is that UK books are not the same size as the US books.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

    1. To me, it really varies by book. There are some UK covers that have so much more compared to a plain US cover. I’m a big fan of their naked books. Some of the more plain covers have amazing naked books underneath. But I never know until I see someone else who already has the book.

  1. That Aru Shah Book looks like to completely different stories. The US cover is like “happy fun time talking to animal spirits” and the UK cover is like “Beware DEMONS”

  2. I think it definitely depends on the book for me. Some are gorgeous and there’s so much detail, but then with some US books they end up going over the top. But then you get the opposite with UK ones where there isn’t that much detail sometimes haha!

  3. Hmmmm I can’t say I consistently like US vs UK covers. I think it depends on the book for me! I love the UK cover of On the Come Up however I like the US cover better for The Epic Crush 🙂 Great post!!
