Top Ten Tuesday 5/14/19

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.   You can find each week’s topic on her site.

This week’s prompt:   Page to Screen Freebie (Books that became movies/TV shows, movies that became books, great adaptations, bad ones, books you need to read before watching their movie/TV show, movies you loved based on books you hated or vice versa, books you want to read because you saw the movie or vice versa, etc.)

I decided to break this up into two groups.

Both read and watched:

Watched, but haven’t read (yet):

Normally I struggle to come up with ten, but looking these up made me realize how many books have been made into movies or tv shows.  That makes me very happy, except when they totally change everything and destroy it.  With all the ones I’ve read and watched, I liked the book more.

Did you do top ten this week?  If so, comment with your link so I can check out your post.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I feel like as I get older, the less I appreciate these books (or the harder it is to get into some of them). Out of all the 4, if you think you want to read PLL, start with that one. I feel like that book could be a hit/miss. It was free one time at Apple iBooks and it’s the only reason why I’ve read it.
