The TBR and Beyond challenge for April is going to be a fun one. Members can find the event here. If you’re not a member yet, what are you waiting for? I promise it’s a fun, drama free group. We have group reads, challenges, and live author chats monthly.
This month our challenge is “Dark Fantasy Match Game” event. The graphic for the challenge will be in the comments below, as well in the general group. Feel free to print it out and mark it up as you please.
This month’s game is different. You MUST pick TWO cards to make a match (any two cards) and find a book with BOTH those themes in them and, of course, read the book. That will give you a match!
The signs are up to YOUR interpretation. Example, Red could be a book that has a red cover or the word red in it or it could be something like love or blood. Just use your imagination for it!
Prize this month will be any book from Book Depository (up to $15 US).
Prize Entries –
Each book read is worth one entry.
Finish all 5 challenges/pairs – 10 extra entries.
You can do more pairs once you have finished the challenge if you’d like and you will get ONE extra entry for each challenge in that case.
Extra Entry Chances:
Color your picture – Two extra entries
Read one of March’s TBR and Beyond group books – Wicked Saints, A Curse So Dark and Lonely or The Waking Forest – Three extra entries per book. If you read all three books you will get a bonus and get 12 extra entries all together.
Read one of TBR and Beyond’s past reads from the last year and earn 2pts per each read. List will be below.
– We maybe have one or two more ways to earn entries as time the month goes on, so keep an eye out for that.
The cards you can print out and use.
I have some contemporary arcs I need to read in April (and I’m going on vacation). But I’m hoping to be able to squeeze in one or two books that will fit this challenge.
Are you doing this challenge? Do you have any goals? Have you made a TBR for it?
