I had a feeling that my great July would be tough to beat. My August numbers just weren’t as good, but they were still higher than June. I have no idea how I had such an incredible July.

I didn’t buy as many books in August. That’s probably good because I think September and October are going to be bad. I did buy some, had a few book boxes, and got some books from publishers/authors.

I did ok for August. I had a few physical arcs, so I read a little less for the digital arcs than I planned on. But I think there were only two that I didn’t get to. These are the ones I finished and wrote reviews for. Some reviews won’t be up for a couple weeks still because of blog tours.

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
It works like this:
I will be doing 15 again this week. I decided to not really comment on most titles. If I’m removing it, it’s because I either don’t remember adding it, it doesn’t sound that appealing anymore, or I just know I’ll probably never pick it up.
As I’m writing this (8/30), I am halfway through a book. I’m hoping to finish it before the 1st, but I’m not positive. So this wrap up is what I’ve read through August 30th. My month wasn’t too bad for reading and I read a lot of books I loved.
Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish by Pablo Cartaya 4 1/2 stars
Unbelievable by Katy Tur (audiobook) 5 stars
Strange Grace by Tessa Gratton 4 stars
