August 2018 Book Haul

I didn’t buy as many books in August.  That’s probably good because I think September and October are going to be bad.  I did buy some, had a few book boxes, and got some books from publishers/authors.

*  Already Read

I’ll start with Edelweiss and Netgalley:

What You Hide by Natalie D Richards

The Turnaway Girls by Hayley Chewins

A Room Away From The Wolves* by Nova Ren Suma

See All The Stars* by Kit Frick

The Blood Spell by C.J. Redwine

Black Enough edited by Ibi Zoboi

Sherwood by Meagan Spooner

If You’re Out There by Katy Loutzenhiser

Digital books purchased or free:

The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts

Wand Fasted by Laurie Forest

Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer

Ripley’s Revenge* by Vicki, Kimberly, Linda, and Teresa

Book Boxes:

Nightbooks, Heart of Thorns, Catwoman, and Dance of Thieves

Books sent by publishers or authors:

Ripley’s Revenge*, Seafire*, Song of the Dead, See All The Stars*, and Escaping From Houdini*  (I’ve done well and read 4 out of 5 of these already!)

Books I purchased:

Puerto Rico travel book, Next Year in Havana, Grace & Fury*, Heretics Anonymous*, Toil & Trouble, and 5 graphic novels.

If I counted right, that’s 8 digital sent, 4 digital purchased/free, 5 physical books sent, 4 from book boxes, and 10 purchased physical books.  That’s 31 total books for August.  Definitely one of my smaller hauls!  But I know I have a lot of books pre-ordered that come out in September and October, so I expect the hauls to be bigger both of those months.  I guess we’ll see soon.

Did you have a decent haul for August?  What books did you get?

  1. Seafire and Heart of Thorns are two books I’ve most anticipated this year! I can’t wait to read them as they sound amazing. I look forward to your thoughts on them 🙂
