As most of you know, I’m a mod on the TBR and Beyond facebook group.  We have been having live author chats for the past couple months and our fall schedule is now up.

Down The TBR Hole #44

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when youre scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go

I will be doing 15 again this week.  I decided to not really comment on most titles.  If I’m removing it, it’s because I either don’t remember adding it, it doesn’t sound that appealing anymore, or I just know I’ll probably never pick it up.

Thank you Jimmy Patterson Books/Little Brown!

Just a quick thank you to Jimmy Patterson Books for sending this arc of Escaping From Houdini!  Many of you know that this is a favorite series of mine.  I already finished this and can’t wait to share my review with you (next month for a blog tour).

Have you read this yet?  What did you think?

My Pop Vinyl Collection (part one)

I thought I would do something a little different today and share our Pop Vinyl Collection.  We have a lot, so I’m splitting it into two posts.  They are all on shelves on our book cases and I love that they fit so well there.

A handful of Disney Pops.  I love Disney, so I definitely want more.

Some Harry Potter pops.

I decided to pick up the August OwlCrate Jr box.  I knew what book it was and I knew I wanted it, so I figured, why not.  The theme was Storyteller’s Toolkit.

Please stop reading now if you don’t want spoilers.  There will be pictures below.
