Running With Lions by Julian Winters
Time for another new box. I picked Bookish Box this time because I wanted the book that was included. But I was not impressed by the box. There was one item I loved, but it felt very cheap. Even the packaging wasn’t good. There was very little stuffing and everything was moving all over inside. So I don’t think I’ll get this one again. I’m not having very good luck with new boxes lately.
Please stop reading here if you do not want spoilers for the box. I will be posting pictures of everything included now.
Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
It works like this:
As before, if there are no comments below the cover, I just don’t really remember adding the book to my list. I will be doing 15 again this week.
It’s hard to believe that June is coming to an end soon. Luckily we have a lot of books to look forward to in July.

Sea Witch by Sarah Henning
Everyone knows what happens in the end.
A mermaid, a prince, a true love’s kiss.
But before that young siren’s tale, there were three friends.
One feared, one royal, and one already dead.
Ever since her best friend, Anna, drowned, Evie has been an outcast in her small fishing town. A freak. A curse. A witch.
A girl with an uncanny resemblance to Anna appears offshore and, though the girl denies it, Evie is convinced that her best friend actually survived. That her own magic wasn’t so powerless after all. And, as the two girls catch the eyes—and hearts—of two charming princes, Evie believes that she might finally have a chance at her own happily ever after.
But her new friend has secrets of her own. She can’t stay in Havnestad, or on two legs, unless Evie finds a way to help her. Now Evie will do anything to save her friend’s humanity, along with her prince’s heart—harnessing the power of her magic, her ocean, and her love until she discovers, too late, the truth of her bargain.
The rise of Hans Christian Andersen’s iconic villainess is a heart-wrenching story of friendship, betrayal, and a girl pushed beyond her limits—to become a monster.
I thought it was time to make my list of favorite books I’ve read so far this year that were released in 2018. I tried to pick ten, but ended up with fifteen for my list. I’m horrible at narrowing it down. Honestly, I’ve read a lot of five star books already this year.
All of these are 2018 releases read in 2018. The list is in no particular order. There is no way I could rank them.
Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh
Amal Unbound (MG) by Aisha Saeed
LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff
