Places I want to visit (outside the US)

I wanted to do another fun topic today that’s not book related.  I have really started to enjoy traveling and I have a bucket list of places I want to visit.  I thought I would share some (not all) of them here.

*None of these pictures are mine.  They were all taken from bing or pinterest.*

Amsterdam   This one is really high up on my list and I’m hoping to make it there in a few years.

Amsterdam 50 10

Almalfi Coast  Italy   My husband and I are hoping to plan a trip to Italy for our 25th anniversary (we just hit 17 years this February, so we have awhile to save).

London, England

Santorini,  Greece

Portugal  not sure what city/area yet

Seville, Spain   really, multiple cities in Spain

Grand Cayman   My friends and I were supposed to go there last year, but went to Aruba instead.  I still want to go someday.  Especially to swim with the stingrays.

Belize  This is another that is really high up on my list.  I want to visit the city, the ruins, and maybe some of the cayes.

Old San Juan, Puerto Rico  This is tough because this was high on my list before the hurricane.  I’m not sure how much of the city was destroyed.

Bermuda  This is a more recent addition for me.  It’s not too far and pretty affordable.

This isn’t all the places I want to visit, but some that are pretty high up on my list.  I decided not to put any US destinations on this list and will do that one soon.

I’ve only been to Mexico and Aruba so far (outside of the US).  I’m hoping to visit at least a few of these.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. Haha it’s so funny that your top destinations are destinations around the corner for me and would not be on my list (although I have to say Portugal and Italy are really lovely countries where people are way more relaxed so I like it there as well) but all the others, Cayman Island, Aruba, Puerto Rico are the real dream destinations (and so expensive to go). Nice post and I hope you can make your dreams come true and go everywhere!

    1. Thank you! There are so many places I want to go to, but some are just way too far (like Australia) and expensive. I’m trying to be realistic, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever make it to all of these. I hope you can make it to your dream destinations someday.

  2. The Amalfi Coast is the prettiest place I’ve ever been, it really is stunning 😍. I recommend staying in Sorrento, I’ve only been once but it was absolutely beautiful!

      1. Good idea, there are so many beautiful places on the coast! Positano is stunning too, but I have to say I wasn’t as keen on Amalfi itself

  3. If you visit Amsterdam, I definitely suggest visiting Utrecht as well. I personally love Utrecht more. It’s a big city as well, but more cozy in my opinion. I am going to London next weekend. I will be posting about it on the blog 😁

  4. I just teared up seeing Puerto Rico. My native Island is so beautiful and you will love it whenever you get the chance to visit. I am planning to go to Greece in the next two years and that place specifically.
