February 2018 Wrap Up

I’m actually surprised that I finished as much as I did in February.  I barely read on vacation, so it took me over a week to finish one book.  Somehow I managed to read a lot this week.  Probably because I have been sick and didn’t do much around the house.  I ended up reading 8 books and finishing 1 audiobook (listened to in the car with my husband) for a total of 9 books for February.  My blog also did pretty well.

First I’ll share my blog stats.  I want to start doing this monthly to see how things are going.  I’m hoping to keep improving on the numbers.  This month was shorter, but the numbers are still good.

  • Blog Visits  2574
  • Total Visitors  1059
  • Likes  1411
  • Comments  325
  • Total Followers  682

Now for the books read (in order):

The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw  (digital arc)  4  1/2 stars

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody  (physical arc)   5 stars

The Summer of Jordi Perez (and the best burger in Los Angeles) by Amy Spalding  (physical arc)  4  1/2 stars

Dear Martin by Nic Stone   5 stars

Batman:  Nightwalker by Marie Lu   4  1/2 stars

Phoenix Fire by S.D. Grimm  (digital arc)  3  1/2-4 stars

Risen by Cole Gibsen  (digital arc)  4  1/2 stars

The Big Bad Wolf by Jus Accardo  (digital arc)  4 stars

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco  5 stars (same as when I read it)

My favorite read of the month was Ace of Shades with Dear Martin coming in a very close second.

How did you do in February?  What was your favorite book for the month?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. The Wicked Deep sounds awesome and has an amazing cover. I can’t wait for that to come out on Tuesday to check that out. I am also super excited to read Ace of Shades. How was Hunting Prince Dracula on audiobook? I loved the story so I can only imagine how awesome the audio for it is.
