Top Ten Tuesday “Books I didn’t get around to reading in 2017”

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and, if you want to, add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s posts (typically put up midnight EST on Tuesday) so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

I decided last minute to go ahead and do this one.  There were so many books I didn’t get to in 2017 that I really wanted to read.  I think these are probably my top ten though.

A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C Dao

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins

Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu

Odd & True by Cat Winters

Gray Wolf Island by Tracey Neithercott

All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater

There are so many others that I wanted to read, too.  I’m hoping to get at least half of these read this year.  It’s so tough when there are a ton of good books set to be released though.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.
