Other favorite books I read in 2017

I had to make a second post because I read so many great books in 2017.  Not all of these were released in 2017, but that is when I read them.

These are in no particular order.

This Savage Song

The Female of the Species

Illuminae

Alex, Approximately

Stalking Jack The Ripper

Dumplin

Labyrinth Lost

When Dimple Met Rishi

This Darkness Mine

Before She Ignites

They Both Die At The End

The Girl Who Ignored Ghosts

One of Us is Lying

13 Minutes

Everless (this comes out in 2018 and will most likely make my top releases)

The Shadow Queen

You Don’t Know My Name

The Perfect Stranger

Plus a handful of other honorable mentions.  Long Way Down would have made my list, but I only listened to it and didn’t read it.  So I put it here even though it was so good.

That’s not even all the books I rated 4 stars are higher this year.  I feel very lucky that I enjoyed most of the books I read.

What were some of your favorite reads in 2017?

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. Another great post. I never did read Savage Song, although it was on my list. Favourite reads? I am not sure I could say either although I did really like Toronto Book of the Dead, The Wish Tree, Jaya and Rasa all really great. Just read The Agony of Bun O’Keefe. I highly recommend it.
