Most Anticipated Releases January 2018

There are a lot of books coming out in January that I’m excited for.  This list only has some of the ones coming out, but they are the ones I’m most looking forward to.

January 2nd:

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black  (I have this pre-ordered)

Everless by Sara Holland  (I loved this one and have it pre-ordered)

TTT: Books I hope Santa brings me.

toptentuesday

I decided to give top ten Tuesday a chance this week.  This is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This was harder than I thought it would be since so many books I want right now aren’t out until 2018.  I wanted to find books that could possibly be here Christmas morning.  These are in no particular order.  I tried to pick a variety of books off my Goodreads TBR.  I had plenty to choose from.

Candle Haul from Icey Designs

Thought I would do something a little different and share my recent candle haul.  I purchased two 2oz candle tin sets from Icey Designs on Etsy.  There were so many scents/books to chose from and it made it kind of hard to decide.  In the end, I ended up picking more based on the books vs the scents.  That way I can use them in photos, too.

Down The TBR #8

Down The TBR Hole is a meme that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when youre scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?
