Most anticipated December 2017 releases

Luckily December looks like a slow book month.  I need that after how many great books were released the past three months.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am back from Aruba, but not quite ready for new blog posts yet.  I just wanted to quickly wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

I didn’t get much reading done on vacation, but I will do my best to work on some blog posts and hopefully a review of two soon.  Plus I should have some vacation pictures to share.

Thank you all for checking out the blog while I was away and thank you for the new followers, too.

Just a little update.

I’m still in Aruba.  I will be coming home late tonight/tomorrow morning.

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted any reviews lately.  Or maybe not, but that’s ok.  The last two books I read were for book blog tours.  So my reviews are written, but I can’t post them here yet.

I should be getting some reading done on the beach, so I hope to have some reviews to share with you all when I get back.   Continue reading “Just a little update.”

Down the TBR #5

Down The TBR Hole is a meme that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when youre scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well thats going to change!

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?
