Down The TBR Hole is a meme that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
It works like this:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Time for another ten books. My TBR is 2574 (yes, I’m still adding more).
I don’t remember anything about this or why I added it. I do love witch books, but I’m not sure I’ll ever pick this up.
After meeting Kimberly McCreight, I have to keep this one on my list. Not sure when I’ll ever get to it, but it does sound good.
I think I added this because I wanted to see the movie. I haven’t watched it or read it.
I loved Christopher Pike growing up and enjoyed the Thirst series. So I am going to leave this one.
This one doesn’t really sound like something I’ll pick up anytime soon. Even thought it’s Christopher Pike, too, I don’t think I’ll read it.
I like R.L. Stine, but I doubt I’ll pick this up unless it’s given to me.
I don’t remember adding this one either.
Not sure when I’ll read it, but this one does still interest me a bit.
I added this because it was Chicago vampires, but I don’t have as much desire to read it anymore.
Another witch book, but I doubt I’ll pick it up.
I did pretty well this week removing 7 books and only keeping 3.
