Down The TBR Hole is a meme that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
Most of you probably know this feeling, your Goodreads TBR pile keeps growing and growing and it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You keep adding, but you add more than you actually read. And then when you’re scrolling through your list, you realize that you have no idea what half the books are about and why you added them. Well that’s going to change!
It works like this:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
I know I added a few more books to my TBR last week, but let’s try this again. I’m really going to try to do it weekly to help out.
I’m not sure that I’ll get to it, but this does still sound good to me.
I don’t remember anything about this or why I added it.
I’ve heard good things about this one.
I don’t really have any desire to read this anything soon even though it sounds good.
This is just a short story, so I doubt I’ll ever read it. I’ve already read past this story in the series.
I like the authors in this, but it doesn’t really jump out to me anymore.
I know, I know. I haven’t read this one yet. I’ve watched the movie and still want to give book one a try.
I should really give this one a try soon. I think this series is huge now.
No real desire to read this one right now.
This is one I need to make time to read still.
I removed 5 this week and kept 5. New TBR total is 2574 (which will probably go up again by the next one I do).
