Liebster Award #2

I was tagged by The Bookish Wanderer for my second Liebster Award.   Thank you Melissa!

Rules –

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Answer the 11 questions they gave you
  • Nominate 11 blogs
  • Give them 11 questions to answer

I’m trying to catch up on tags/awards, so I’m not going to tag anyone right now.

What is your favorite blog post you wrote so far?

I’m not sure that I really have one that stands out.  I do like my book haul posts and my author signing posts though.

What/Who got you into reading?

I think I started reading when I was 4.  I’m assuming my mom got me into it, but I don’t really remember anything from when I was that young.  I just started reading and never stopped.

How do you get through a reading slump?

I luckily don’t get into too many of these.  I just take a break from reading books and try to catch up on some magazines.  I also try switching genres to see if that helps.  Once I find a book I can really get into, the slump stops.

What is your OTP?

Probably Audrey Rose & Thomas from Stalking Jack The Ripper.  I need them to really get together for real instead of all the flirting and dancing around it.  I just love them.

Who is your ultimate favorite book character?

I don’t think I can pick just one.  There are way too many.  New favorites are Audrey Rose, Thomas, Emika, Katherine, and August.

Do you want to be an author?  Is so, what are you currently working on?

No, I don’t think I could be an author.  I used to write a lot when I was younger and was writing a book in middle school.  But I much prefer to read.  I’m just not very creative.

What is your ultimate dream job?

Since I have anxiety, I don’t really think any job would be a dream for me.  But if I could work, I would love to work with authors.  Maybe publishing or working on promotion for book tours.

What book do you wish could be turned into a movie?

If it’s done well, probably Warcross and This Mortal Coil.

What’s the last book that made you cry?

I think it was They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera.  I cry a lot with his books.

What are your top three favorite things to do?

Reading, going to concerts, and just finding a new adventure.  I like to travel for small amounts of time and I even love finding new places that are somewhat local.

Thanks again to Melissa for the tag!

My name is Kristi and I review books and mod on TBR and Beyond on Facebook. I love to travel and go to concerts. I've been married for over 20 years. I listen to a lot of pop punk. Otherwise, I'm pretty boring. We do have four grandchildren now and try to see them monthly since they don't live close. I read mostly YA and adult mystery/thrillers. I also read a lot of middle grade and some adult romance. You can also find me on facebook, twitter, and instagram (don't post often).
