The theme for OwlCrate’s October box was Find Me In The Forest.

This is the first time OwlCrate has included a mug in their boxes.  This is inspired by the Forbidden Forest from Harry Potter and was made exclusively by artist Cara Kozik.

I love this gorgeous print by Audra Auclair based on Princess Mononoke.

This Raven Cycle candle is from In The Wick Of Time and the loose leaf tea is based on Robin Hood and is from Riddle’s Tea Shop.  The adorable Where The Wild Things Are bookmarks are from Craftedvan.  Artist Kristin Askland created the woodland inspired coaster.  There is always an exclusive pin in each box, too.

This month’s book was Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore.  I am so in love with this OwlCrate exclusive cover!

The book came with a signed bookplate, handwritten letter from the author, and a package of seeds.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. I thought the box was cute. I really like the mug, but since I haven’t read HP at all yet, I was going to give it to someone on IG that I saw that wanted it, but then I couldn’t find who it was. So, I am going to keep it and hope I am a fan when I start the series, lol. The candle was awesome!
