September 2017 FairyLoot Unboxing

September’s FairyLoot theme was All That Sass and the box was packed with tons of great items.

There is always a spoiler card and a newletter with next month’s theme listed (October’s box is going to be amazing.)

The first item I pulled out was an exclusive Rattle The Stars Beanie. It is inspired by Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series.

My favorite item is this gorgeous exclusive Nonsense Tote Bag designed by Miss Phi.  It was inspired by Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices series.  It is so pretty in person.  The flash really washed it out in the picture.

This “Bad Ideas” notebook was designed by Alexis Lampley.  The Hot Chocolate for Sassy Demi-Gods is vegan and from Brontie & Co.  It was inspired by Percy Jackson.

The candle is an exclusive High Warlock Candle by In the Wick of Time inspired by Magnus Bane in The Mortal Instruments.

Taratjah created these two art prints.  One has Carswell Thorn from Lunar Chronicles and the other is Delilah Bard from Darker Shades of Magic.

I love this magnet by Ink and Wonder Designs.  It’s inspired by the Weasley twins in Harry Potter.  There was also a sampler of Gentlemen’s Guide to Vice and Virtue and a Tower of Dawn Bookmark.

The final items are the book, signed bookplate, and letter from the author.  This month’s book is The Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett.   I haven’t read this one yet, but it is full of sassy characters, dark witches, dragons, and fire demons.  It sounds like something I would love.  The cover is so pretty, too.

Definitely check out FairyLoot.  I’ve loved every box I’ve received.  I don’t subscribe, but I have made single purchases for the past few months.  They just announced November’s theme.  I already ordered the book included, but I’m tempted to buy it anyways.  That box goes on sale on October 5th (I believe).   The October boxes sold out quickly, so don’t wait to long for November.

My name is Kristi and I review books and mod on TBR and Beyond on Facebook. I love to travel and go to concerts. I've been married for over 20 years. I listen to a lot of pop punk. Otherwise, I'm pretty boring. We do have four grandchildren now and try to see them monthly since they don't live close. I read mostly YA and adult mystery/thrillers. I also read a lot of middle grade and some adult romance. You can also find me on facebook, twitter, and instagram (don't post often).

  1. I’d love to get FairLoot’s box one day!

Their November box looks amazing but the shipping price would cost me more than the box itself.
