Another month of going broke. My most anticipated October 2017 releases.

This is going to be a long one!  I still haven’t purchased all the September releases I want and October looks just as crazy.  I have pre-ordered a couple of these and just found out I won a copy of All The Crooked Saints (yay me!), so that helps.  I may have to order a few more to spread it out.  I also know I’ll get a couple of these from OwlCrate and FairyLoot.

October 1st:

33973968

The Goblins of Bellwater by Molly Ringle  (not sure why this is an odd release date, but I’m really looking forward to this one)

October 3rd:

Ringer by Lauren Oliver  (I have this one ordered for a book signing.)

27 Hours by Tristina White (I read this one recently)

Top Ten by Katie Cotugno

The Hanging Girl by Eileen Cook (I also read this one)

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore

The Last Namsara by Kristin Ciccarelli

Brooding YA Hero by Carrie Ann DiRisio  (this one had a cool pre-order special, so I already ordered it)

Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor

October 10th:

All The Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater  (just found out today that I won this book)

Dare Mighty Things by Heather Kaczynski  (I’m reading this now and really liking it)

The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

All the Wind in the World by Samantha Mabry

This Darkness Mine by Mindy McGinnis  (I already read this one)

The Memory Trees by Kali Wallace

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao

Gray Wolf Island by Tracy Neithercott  (ordered this one with a cool pre-order special)

Berserker by Emmy Laybourne

Turtles All The Way Down by John Green

October 17th:

Dear Martin by Nic Stone

A Line in the Dark by Malinda Lo

October 24th:

29622131

The Glass Spare by Lauren DeStefano

October 31st:

33395234

Beasts Made Of Night by Tochi Onyebuchi

I’m sure there are others that I forgot to add, but those are the ones I’m most excited for in October.

What are the books you’re most looking forward to next month? Have you read any of these already?  Comment below and let me know.

I'm Kristi. I'm a wife, mom, and grandma. I have been breeding leopard geckos for ten years. I love to read and have been trying to review more books (the reason for this blog besides wanting to talk about books with everyone). I also love music and going to concerts, mostly punk and pop punk.

  1. Great list! We are super excited about The Last Namsara, YA Brooding Hero (which looks hilarious!), and Forest of A Thousand Lanterns! This fall in general has some seriously awesome releases! We have read so many cool, new books so far this month and we can’t wait for these October releases 🙂

      1. Yes! Like authors need to take a pause from writing all of these amazing books so we can actually get our TBR down to a reasonable number lol! Anytime we think we have our TBR under control, a million new releases get announced and we just have to add them to our list!
